iPhone Air 2 to get 3 key upgrades
Leaker Digital Chat Station has once again shared the rumored specs for iPhone Air 2. According to the source, Apple is preparing a second rear camera, a larger battery and an A20-series processor, while retaining the slim design.
Cameras
The phone is rumored to have a 48-megapixel main camera and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The first iPhone Air has a single 48-megapixel rear camera, so adding an ultra-wide camera would make it possible to capture more of a scene when shooting landscapes, interiors and group portraits.

Resolution alone, however, does not determine photo quality. Support for spatial video recording on the iPhone Air 2 has not yet been confirmed.
Battery
In a new post, Digital Chat Station mentions an increase in battery capacity but does not specify a figure. The same leaker previously put it at around 3,500 mAh. By comparison, the first iPhone Air has a 3,149 mAh battery. If the earlier information is confirmed, that would be an increase of about 11%.
Performance
According to the leak, the iPhone Air 2 will use an A20-series processor built on TSMC’s 2nm process. The first-generation model uses a 3nm A19 Pro.

Display and design
The leaker expects a 6.55-inch flat OLED display with LTPO technology and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The resolution is described as 1.5K, with no exact pixel count given.
The screen size is almost identical to that of the first iPhone Air: Apple calls its display 6.5 inches, while the diagonal of the full rectangle measures 6.55 inches. Other leaks have cited a body thickness of around 5.2mm, compared with 5.64mm for its predecessor.
Pricing and release date
According to preliminary information, the iPhone Air 2 may be unveiled in spring 2027 alongside the standard iPhone 18. Official pricing is unknown.
