iQOO Neo 12 gets a 185Hz display, fan and 9,000mAh battery
The iQOO Neo 12’s standout feature is the Ice Dome active cooling system, with a built-in fan and vents on the body.
Display
The iQOO Neo 12 features a flat 6.83-inch Visionox AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200 × 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. The panel uses fourth-generation pTSF technology and delivers peak brightness of up to 2,200 nits across the entire screen.

For gaming, it offers an instantaneous touch sampling rate of up to 5,000Hz and a simultaneous touch registration rate of up to 500Hz. These maximum rates are available only in supported games.
Performance
The smartphone is powered by the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with an Adreno 840 GPU. It is complemented by iQOO’s proprietary Q3 gaming chip, which provides hardware-accelerated graphics processing, including image upscaling, frame generation and ray tracing in compatible games.

The Ice Dome cooling system combines an active 17 × 17mm fan, a dedicated air duct and an 8,200mm² vapor chamber. The fan has three operating modes: quiet, smart and maximum speed.
The smartphone comes with 12 or 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 256GB to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Cameras
The rear camera setup consists of two cameras:
- Main: 50MP, a 1/1,56-inch Sony IMX921 sensor, f/1.88 aperture and CIPA 4.5-rated optical image stabilization (OIS).
- Ultra-wide: 8MP, f/2.2 aperture.
The 16MP front camera, with an f/2.45 aperture, sits in a centered punch-hole cutout at the top of the screen. The main camera supports video recording at up to 8K, while the front camera supports up to 1080p.
Battery
The iQOO Neo 12 has a typical battery capacity of 9,000mAh and supports wired charging at up to 100W. The battery uses a fifth-generation silicon anode.

According to the manufacturer, the smartphone can play short videos continuously for up to 29.9 hours. It also supports bypass charging, which powers the device directly without charging the battery, helping reduce heat during gaming while the charger is connected.
Other features
The smartphone features an ultrasonic 3D in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, NFC and an infrared port. It supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB-C 2.0.
The body is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance. The active cooling system itself is water-resistant to IPX8 and IPX9 standards.
The device runs OriginOS 7, based on Android 17.
