The rumored specifications of Apple’s affordable iPhone 18e have surfaced online. The smartphone is expected to launch in 2027.

Specifications

The iPhone 18e will reportedly feature a flat 6.12-inch LTPS OLED display. According to the leak, it will not support a 120 Hz refresh rate. Scrolling and animations will remain less smooth than on models with higher refresh rates.

iPhone 17e

The smartphone is expected to get Apple’s A20 chip, replacing the A19 in iPhone 17e. According to preliminary information, the new processor will be manufactured using a 2 nm process. It was also previously reported that the amount of RAM could increase to 9 GB.

The main camera will reportedly retain its 48 MP resolution. The front camera may get a 24 MP sensor, up from 12 MP in its predecessor. No other details are available yet.

Release date

According to preliminary information, Apple will unveil the iPhone 18e in spring 2027.
