Xiaomi has started selling the Smart Band 11 fitness tracker in Europe. It features a 1.72-inch AMOLED display, runs HyperOS 4 and does not have built-in GPS.

Design and display

The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 has an aluminum frame and protective 2.5D glass. The body measures 47,44 × 23,66 × 9,99 mm, excluding the rear sensor bump, and 10.79 mm including it. The standard version weighs 15.58 grams without the strap, while the NFC model weighs 16 grams.

The 1.72-inch AMOLED touchscreen has a resolution of 212 × 520 pixels and a 60 Hz refresh rate. In HBM mode, brightness reaches 1,500 nits, while peak brightness can briefly reach 2,000 nits in certain scenarios. The bezels around the screen are 2 mm wide.

Health and fitness features

The Smart Band 11 is powered by a BES2700iMP-YX5 processor and runs Xiaomi HyperOS 4. Its sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, electronic compass, ambient light sensor, and optical sensor for measuring heart rate and blood oxygen saturation.

The band tracks heart rate, SpO₂, stress levels, sleep and women’s health. Sleep features include HRV analysis and recommendations based on measurement history and daily habits. Xiaomi emphasizes that health readings are for reference only and that the device is not a medical instrument.

More than 150 sports modes are supported. Heart rate can be broadcast over Bluetooth to compatible bike computers and third-party apps. The band can also measure heart rate while swimming.

The 5ATM water-resistance rating makes the band suitable for swimming in a pool and activities in shallow water. It is not designed for diving, hot showers, saunas or activities involving strong water pressure.

The Smart Band 11 has no built-in GPS. To record a route during workouts, the band uses the location data of a connected smartphone.

Battery life

Both versions have a 233 mAh battery and charge via a magnetic cable. A full charge takes about 90 minutes.

For the standard Smart Band 11, Xiaomi claims up to 21 days of battery life in light-use scenarios, about 10 days with typical use and up to 6 days with Always-On Display enabled.

The Smart Band 11 NFC has a lower maximum battery life: up to 18 days in power-saving mode. Xiaomi claims the same 10 days with typical use and about 6 days with the display always on. In its lab test of the NFC model, Xiaomi factored in up to ten contactless transactions per day.

Connectivity and compatibility

The band connects via Bluetooth 5.4 and the Mi Fitness app. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 8.0 or later and iPhones running iOS 14 or later.

The Smart Band 11 can display notifications, control an iPhone’s camera, and turn pages in short videos, e-books and presentations. It can also sync notifications between compatible Xiaomi smartphones and iPhones when they use the same Xiaomi account.

The Smart Band 11 NFC lets users add bank cards through Xiaomi Pay and use the band for contactless transactions. Supported cards and services vary by country and bank.
