Redmi K100 unveiled with a 10, 000 mAh battery and a 165 Hz display
The Redmi K100 features a 10, 000 mAh battery, a powerful processor and an advanced cooling system. Its body is just 8.65 mm thick, and it meets IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection standards.
Display
The Redmi K100 is equipped with a flat 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 × 1280 pixels, a 165 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. The touch sampling rate reaches 480 Hz for multitouch input, while the instantaneous touch sampling rate is 3,500 Hz.
Green Mountain 4.0 technology is used to reduce eye strain. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is built into the display.
Hardware
The Redmi K100 is powered by the no-longer-new 3 nm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with Adreno 830 graphics. It also has a dedicated D2 graphics coprocessor, which enables hardware image upscaling in games and frame generation at up to 144 fps.
The smartphone is available with 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 256 or 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Cameras
The main camera has two sensors:
- 50 MP Light Hunter 800, 1/1,55-inch sensor, f/1.68 aperture, optical image stabilization and a six-element lens;
- 8 MP, 1/4-inch sensor, f/2.2 aperture and a five-element lens.
The 20 MP front camera is housed in a centered punch-hole cutout. It supports 1080p video recording at 30 or 60 fps.
Battery
The Redmi K100 is equipped with a 10, 000 mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery. Based on its internal Day of Use (DOU) test, Xiaomi claims up to 2.43 days of battery life on a single charge.
It supports 100 W wired charging and up to 27 W wired reverse charging. A bypass charging mode is also available, supplying power directly to the smartphone’s components and reducing battery heat during gaming.
Software and connectivity
Stereo speakers tuned in collaboration with Bose handle audio. For wireless connectivity, the phone uses a system of seven gaming antennas and two T1+ signal amplifiers. It runs HyperOS 4 based on Android 17. The body is protected against water and dust to IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K standards.
The Redmi K100 measures 162,91 × 77,93 × 8,65 mm and weighs 234.5 grams.
Price and release date
The Redmi K100 will go on sale in China on October 31. It will be available in white, black and light green.
