OnePlus N6 Lite 4G unveiled with 7000 mAh battery and 120 Hz display
The OnePlus N6 Lite 4G has joined the OnePlus N6 family and is now the most affordable smartphone from the brand in India. In this new device, the manufacturer has focused primarily on extreme battery life and enhanced durability.
Specifications
The OnePlus N6 Lite 4G features a 6.75-inch IPS panel with HD+ resolution (1570 × 720 pixels) and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Typical brightness is 700 nits, reaching 900 nits in HBM mode. The display covers 86% of the DCI-P3 color space and supports Aqua Touch for more accurate touch recognition with wet fingers.
Device performance is handled by a modest 12nm octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor with a maximum frequency of 1.8 GHz and a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The smartphone is available in a single configuration: 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage of 64 GB. Virtual RAM expansion up to 8 GB is supported, along with microSD cards up to 2 TB.
A cooling system with a total area of 13,700 mm² is used. Out of the box, the device runs Android 16 with the proprietary OxygenOS 16 skin. OnePlus also claims 36-Month Fluency Protection—a lab test intended to verify that system smoothness is maintained over three years.
The gadget’s photo capabilities turned out to be the most basic. The main camera includes just one 13-Mp OmniVision OV13B10 sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. In High-Res mode, the camera can save images with a resolution of up to 50 Mp. The maximum video resolution is 1080p at 30 fps.
The front camera has a resolution of 5 MP and an aperture of f/2.2. It records video at 720p resolution with 30 fps.
The camera app features AI Clear Face to enhance faces in group photos and AI Eraser for removing objects. It also includes integration with Google Gemini.
Battery and protection
The main feature of the OnePlus N6 Lite 4G is a 7000 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone can last up to three days without charging, play video for up to 26.8 hours, and work with Google Maps navigation for up to 29.9 hours. Actual battery life depends on the usage scenario.
It supports 15W wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging. OnePlus states that after 1,600 charge cycles, the battery should retain more than 80% of its original capacity, which the company equates to approximately six years of use.
The new model features enhanced durability. The chassis has passed rigorous testing under the U.S. military standard MIL-STD-810H and is protected against dust and water splashes according to IP64.
The smartphone’s dimensions are 166,48 × 78,23 × 8,95 mm, and its weight is approximately 215 grams.
Connectivity and Interfaces
OnePlus N6 Lite 4G supports two nanoSIM cards, 4G VoLTE networks, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.2. Among the satellite navigation systems listed are GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou.
It is also worth noting the presence of USB Type-C, a 3.5-mm audio jack, and a dedicated microSD card slot. The fingerprint scanner is built into the side power button. The smartphone features a single speaker with OReality Audio support.
Release dates, colors, and price
OnePlus N6 Lite 4G was officially launched in India, where sales began on September 22. The smartphone is available in two colors: Midnight Hype and Neo Green. The only version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage costs 16,999 rupees (≈ $178).
When paying via EMI, some bank cards offer an instant discount of up to ₹750, reducing the price to ₹16,249 (≈ $170).
The smartphone is sold via the official OnePlus website, Amazon India, OnePlus Experience Store locations, and authorized retail networks. No announcement has been made yet regarding the release of the OnePlus N6 Lite 4G in Europe.
