Enough Phone: a 5.3-inch smartphone with a removable battery
Enough Phone, a compact smartphone with a replaceable battery, has been announced on Kickstarter for $399. The manufacturer plans to provide security updates for the device until 2032.
Dimensions and design
The stated dimensions of the Enough Phone are 133 × 64 mm. These are similar to those of the iPhone 13 mini. Despite its compact size, the phone is not exactly thin: the device is about 12 mm thick.

That thickness leaves room for a replaceable battery, and the back cover is secured with screws rather than adhesive. This makes the 3,500 mAh battery easy to replace, even for an ordinary user.
The phone has a fingerprint scanner built into the power button and facial recognition.
Specifications
The Enough Phone is said to have a compact 5.3-inch LCD with a resolution of 1520 × 720 pixels. Its specifications put it in the mid-range category: it features a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

It has a hybrid slot for a microSD card and a physical SIM card, and is also said to support eSIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC. The main camera is said to have a single 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor (1/1,56 inches), while the front camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels.
Two operating systems
Buyers will be able to choose between the standard version of Android 17, which supports familiar apps, and OdysseyOS. The latter is a streamlined Android-based system designed to reduce the time users spend on social networks and entertainment services.

The developers plan to provide security updates for both operating system versions until 2032.
Release date and price
The US startup Enough has now launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund production of its first smartphone, the Enough Phone. The new device is available to early backers starting at $399. Its planned retail price after launch is $599.
Shipments are scheduled to begin in May 2027. However, only a nonfunctional mock-up of the device has been shown so far, and the first working prototypes are expected in December 2026, so the timeline could change.
