According to leaker Digital Chat Station, Chinese manufacturers are testing smartphones with batteries ranging in capacity from 14, 000 to 15, 000 mAh. Such a device could run for up to a week without recharging.

Possible Honor development

The company and specific model have not yet been named. However, users suspect that Honor may be behind the development, as it is actively increasing the battery capacity of its smartphones. The models WIN RT 2 and WIN Turbo 2, unveiled in October, came with batteries rated at a typical capacity of 12, 070 mAh.

Weight not to exceed 250 grams

According to the leaker, the upcoming smartphone will weigh no more than 250 grams, and its body will not be excessively thick. The plan is to achieve this with a high-energy-density battery. It may use silicon-carbon technology, which can increase capacity without a proportional increase in battery size.

When will it launch?

According to the leaker, development is at the prototype testing stage. The smartphone’s launch date has not yet been revealed.
