Honor X9e Pro with 11,000 mAh battery launches globally
Honor unveiled the global version of the Honor X9e Pro smartphone in Malaysia. The model’s key features include a 11,000 mAh battery, reinforced IP69K-rated body protection, and claimed drop resistance from heights up to 3 meters.
Battery and protection
The Honor X9e Pro features a silicon-carbon battery with a typical capacity of 11,000 mAh. It supports 80W wired charging via Honor SuperCharge and reverse charging up to 27W, allowing the smartphone to be used as a power bank.
Despite a battery of this capacity, the device is 8.08 mm thick and weighs 203 grams. The full dimensions are 162,2 × 77 × 8,08 mm.
The smartphone meets IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection classes. Honor also claims resistance to drops onto a smooth granite surface from heights up to 3 meters and the ability to be submerged in water to depths of up to 10 meters under laboratory conditions.
A dedicated photo and video mode is provided for underwater shooting.
Display and performance
On the front, there is a flat 6.8-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a resolution of 2788 × 1280 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and 3840 Hz PWM dimming.
The peak brightness is rated at 10,000 nits, but this value is only achieved when playing compatible video content in full-screen mode and does not correspond to the typical interface brightness.
The Honor X9e Pro is powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 with Adreno 812 graphics. The global version is offered with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage.
The smartphone runs on Android 16 with the MagicOS 10 interface.
Cameras
The main camera uses a 108-MP sensor with a 1/1,67-inch format, an f/1.75 aperture, and optical image stabilization. It supports 4K video recording. Additionally, a 5-MP ultra-wide-angle lens is installed, and the front camera has a resolution of 16 MP.
This is one of the notable differences between the global Honor X9e Pro and the Chinese Honor X80 Pro Max, on which the model is based: the Chinese version was equipped with a 50 MP main camera.
Connectivity and other specifications
Honor X9e Pro supports 5G, dual nanoSIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and an IR transmitter. It also features stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and USB Type-C with a USB 2.0 interface.
The smartphone is available in Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold, and Midnight Black.
Pricing and release date
In Malaysia, the Honor X9e Pro is available in two configurations:
- 8/256 GB – 1,899 ringgit (≈ $465);
- 8/512 GB – 2,399 ringgit (≈ $588).
Pre-orders are accepted until October 8. The release dates and official pricing for the Honor X9e Pro in Europe have not yet been announced.
