AMD outsells NVIDIA in graphics cards for the first time
AMD has for the first time overtaken NVIDIA in the number of graphics cards sold on Amazon in the US.
In August sales data from TechEpiphany, which tracks computer hardware sales on the marketplace, the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT topped the list of best-selling graphics cards on Amazon in the US. Their popularity may be linked to their combination of performance and price, particularly as competing GeForce models become more expensive.
Some NVIDIA graphics cards are selling for significantly more than their recommended prices. For example, according to Notebookcheck, as of November 4, 2026, some Amazon listings priced the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16 GB of memory at more than $700, compared with a launch price of $429.
