AMD raised prices on Radeon graphics cards
AMD has increased the recommended prices for most Radeon graphics cards. The Radeon RX 9070 saw the largest price hike, at $105.
New prices for Radeon graphics cards
Since the beginning of October, the cost of AMD graphics cards in China has changed as follows:
- Radeon RX 9070 – increased by $105, to $940;
- Radeon RX 9060 XT (16 GB) – by $90, to $730;
- Radeon RX 9070 GRE – by $60, to $745;
- Radeon RX 7650 GRE – by $60, to $450;
- Radeon RX 9060 XT (8 GB) – by $45, to $505.

The prices for the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 6500 XT remained the same – $1045 and $240 respectively. Now the difference between the RX 9070 and the RX 9070 XT is only $105, which may reduce the appeal of the lower-end model.
Reasons for the price increase
According to supply chain sources, the increase is due to rising production costs. Prices for TSMC semiconductor dies and VRAM have increased by approximately 10%. AMD supplies these components to partners, including ASUS, Gigabyte, Sapphire, and XFX, so the additional costs may be reflected in retail prices.
So far, the changes are confirmed only for China. However, AMD partners warn that components are becoming more expensive worldwide, so price increases are possible in other markets as well.
