Sony unveils translucent DualSense controllers
Sony has unveiled the Prism Collection, a series of wireless DualSense controllers with translucent shells that reveal their inner components. Matching replacement panels for PS5 will launch in the same three colors.
The collection includes the following options:
- Flare Orange – bright orange;
- Emerald Green – emerald green;
- Graphite Gray – graphite gray.

Glossy translucent plastic also covers the back of the controller. The center panel has a metallic finish. According to PlayStation designer Satoshi Aoyagi, where the translucent material overlaps, the orange hue shifts slightly toward pink.
The team drew inspiration from translucent electronics of the late 1990s when developing the collection. The PS5 replacement panels also offer a partial view of the console’s components, including the fan.

Preorders open on November 10, 2026. Sales begin on February 4, 2027, though exact timing and availability will depend on the country.
Suggested prices in the US and eurozone:
| Accessory | US | Eurozone |
