The publication Tom’s Guide tested the battery life of current flagship smartphones. The iPhone 18 Pro Max delivered a high score and outperformed Samsung and Google models, but notably fell short of the OnePlus 15.

During the test, all devices were subjected to identical conditions: they continuously loaded web pages over a 5G network, and display brightness was set to 150 nits. The test concluded once the battery was fully depleted.

Test results:

  1. OnePlus 15 – 25 hours 13 minutes;
  2. iPhone 18 Pro Max – 18 hours 27 minutes;
  3. Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra – 16 hours 40 minutes;
  4. iPhone 18 Pro – 16 hours 17 minutes;
  5. Google Pixel 11 Pro XL – 14 hours 28 minutes.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max lasted almost 1 hour and 50 minutes longer than the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and almost 4 hours longer than the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL. However, the gap with the leader turned out to be significantly larger: the OnePlus 15 surpassed Apple’s flagship by 6 hours and 46 minutes.

One of the advantages of the OnePlus 15 is its 7300 mAh silicon-carbon battery. Such batteries enable higher energy density and allow larger-capacity batteries to be installed without a proportional increase in device size. Apple continues to use more traditional battery technology for now.
