The replacement cost for the motherboard of the top-tier Xiaomi 18 Fold is 5,930 yuan (≈ $885), while the foldable screen starts at 3,600 yuan (≈ $538).

Screens

The internal 7.58-inch display for standard versions of the Xiaomi 18 Fold costs 3,600 yuan (≈ $538), which is about one-third of the smartphone’s starting price of 10,999 yuan. For the Ceramic Special Edition, the screen is more expensive at 3,800 yuan (≈ $567).

Replacing the 5.38-inch external display will require purchasing a part for 750 yuan (≈ $112).

Motherboard

The motherboard cost depends on the Xiaomi 18 Fold configuration:

• 12 GB + 256 GB – 3,900 yuan (≈ $582);
• 12 GB + 512 GB – 4,300 yuan (≈ $642);
• 16 GB + 512 GB – 4,600 yuan (≈ $687);
• 16 GB + 1 TB – 5930 yuan (≈ $885).

In the top-tier version, the board costs nearly 40% of the smartphone’s price; the 16 GB + 1 TB configuration is sold in China for 14,999 yuan.

Chassis

The rear cover of the standard Xiaomi 18 Fold versions costs 250 yuan (≈ $37). For the Ceramic Special Edition with a ceramic back panel, the price rises to 1045 yuan (≈ $156).

Cameras, battery, and accessories

The remaining components are significantly cheaper:
