
OPPO A7 Pro unveiled: 8000 mAh, IP69K, and 120 Hz
Following the August launch of A7 Pro Max, OPPO has officially released the A7 Pro, a more affordable model in the series. The smartphone features an 8000 mAh battery, IP69K protection, and a 120 Hz OLED display.
Screen
The OPPO A7 Pro is equipped with a 6.57-inch flat OLED display featuring a resolution of 2372×1080 pixels, a refresh rate up to 120 Hz, and a touch sampling rate up to 240 Hz. The screen displays 1.07 billion colors thanks to 10-bit color depth. Maximum brightness in standard mode is 800 nits, while in high-brightness mode it reaches 1400 nits.

Performance
The smartphone runs on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max with a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz. It uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Memory cards are also supported.
An evaporative cooling chamber with an area of 4300 mm² is provided.
Cameras
The rear panel features a 50-MP main camera with autofocus, an f/1.9 aperture, and a 25 mm equivalent focal length. It supports digital zoom up to 10× and video recording at 1080p resolution with frame rates up to 60 fps.

The front camera has an 8 MP resolution, an f/2.1 aperture, and a 25 mm equivalent focal length. It records video at 1080p with 30 fps.
Battery
The OPPO A7 Pro is equipped with a single-cell battery with a typical capacity of 8000 mAh and a nominal capacity of 7820 mAh. It supports 45W fast charging via SUPERVOOC and UFCS technologies, as well as 45W PPS and 13.5W PD.
OPPO states that after 2000 full charge cycles, the battery will retain at least 80% of its original capacity. In laboratory conditions, this corresponds to approximately seven years of use with one full cycle every 1.3 days.
Other
The smartphone meets IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection ratings. Its design also features a reinforced architecture with strengthened corners, internal shock-absorbing elements, and cushioning materials around key components.

OPPO A7 Pro supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C, and an infrared transmitter for controlling home appliances. It features an under-display optical fingerprint scanner, face recognition, and dual SIM support.
The smartphone runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. The system includes AI-powered fraud protection features, including warnings for suspicious calls, face spoofing detection, and inter-app transition protection.
The body dimensions are 159,08×75,81×8,8 mm, and the weight is approximately 205 grams. Three color options are available: Riding the Waves, Every Step Blossoms, and Desert Brown.
Release dates and price
The OPPO A7 Pro is now available for pre-order in China. Smartphone sales will begin on September 11.

The company has not yet announced when the OPPO A7 Pro will be released outside China.
