iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max go on sale

The iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max smartphones are now available at the Apple Store and with authorized partners in more than 65 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, India, South Korea, China, Japan, Australia, Mexico, the UAE, Turkey, and Vietnam. Sales of the new models will begin on September 25 in another 20 countries.

Nighttime frenzy and initial shortages

In some countries, queues at major Apple Stores began forming before the stores opened. Customers lined up for the new smartphones in Singapore, India, Dubai, and other cities.

This year, Apple changed its usual smartphone release schedule. In the fall, the company released only the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, while the standard iPhone 18 is expected in early 2027.

One of the most in-demand options turned out to be the new dark burgundy color, Burgundy. Even during the pre-order phase, delivery timelines for some iPhone 18 Pro configurations and especially the iPhone 18 Pro Max in this color began shifting to late September and October. At the same time, shortages also affected certain versions in other colors.

Cost

In the US, the base price of the iPhone 18 Pro increased by $100 compared to the previous generation. The smartphone starts at $1199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1299. Both models are available with storage capacities of 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB.

In Europe, prices vary by country. Among the markets reviewed, the lowest official prices are set in Germany and Austria, while the highest are in Finland.
