Apple released Beats 360 headphones with a new ANC and modular design
Apple, under the Beats brand, unveiled new over-ear wireless headphones called Beats 360. The model is the brand’s new flagship and features interchangeable ear pads and a headband cover, improved noise cancellation, spatial audio, and the first sweat- and water-resistant rating of IPX4 among Beats’ over-ear models.
Full customization
The main feature of Beats 360 is the ability to change components that directly contact the user’s head. The earcups detach with a twist, and the soft headband pad can be removed without tools.

The headphones are available in four colors: Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky. The package includes matching Performance Knit ear tips.
Additional Performance Knit kits are available in six colors: Black, Cloud, Pink, Sky, Navy, and Volt. They are made from memory foam and covered with breathable fabric.

For a more traditional landing, UltraPlush with an artificial leather finish is offered. They are available in Black and Cloud colors.
With four chassis options and eight ear pad sets, you can achieve 32 standard combinations. If ear pads and headband covers are combined separately, the number of variants increases to 256.

Built-in sensors identify the type of installed earpads and automatically adjust equalizer, active noise cancellation, and transparency mode settings based on the acoustic properties of Performance Knit or UltraPlush.
Audio and active noise cancellation
Beats 360 received a new speaker system with drivers developed specifically for this model. Each driver uses a three-layer diaphragm and two neodymium magnets. An amplifier with an extended dynamic range is also installed.
According to Beats, combined active and passive noise cancellation reaches a level 1.75 times higher than that of the Beats Studio Pro. The system adapts to the environment and how the headphones fit.

Beats 360 features nine digital MEMS microphones. They are used for active noise cancellation and voice transmission, and during calls, the beamforming system reduces background noise.
Transparency mode and Adaptive EQ are included, which adjust the frequency response based on how the headphones fit.
Beats 360 support Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking and Dolby Atmos. To enable this, the left earcup is equipped with an accelerometer and a gyroscope. Creating a personalized spatial audio profile requires a compatible iPhone with a TrueDepth camera.
Design and IPX4 protection
Beats 360 are protected against sweat and water splashes to the IPX4 standard. The headphones must not be submerged in water. The headband has become thinner, and telescopic stainless steel guides are used for fit adjustment. The ear cups can rotate independently and fold flat for portability.

The right earcup houses the volume rocker and a multifunction button for playback and call control. On the left are the power button and a dedicated switch for listening modes. There is no wear sensor, so Beats 360 do not automatically pause music when removed from the head.
The dimensions of the Beats 360 are 191,3 × 165,5 × 87,1 mm, and its weight is 294.5 grams.
Battery life
Beats claims up to 32 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation or Adaptive EQ. The same result is listed when using ANC, Personalized Spatial Audio, and dynamic head tracking simultaneously. In Transparency mode, battery life reaches up to 24 hours.
Fast Fuel quick charging via USB-C provides up to one hour of playback after five minutes of charging.
Wired playback is not supported. Unlike the Beats Studio Pro, the Beats 360 lacks a 3.5-mm audio jack and the ability to transmit audio via USB-C. The port is used for charging only. A USB-C cable and power adapter are not included in the box.
Compatibility with iPhone and Android
The headphones operate on Beats’ proprietary platform, with a dedicated chip installed in each earcup. Wireless connectivity uses Bluetooth 5.3 Class 1.
With Apple devices, you get one-tap pairing, automatic switching between devices, Audio Sharing, Siri voice activation, FaceTime with spatial audio, Personalized Spatial Audio, and Find My. To use Find My, iOS 27 or later is required.
Fast Pair, Audio Switch, Find Hub, and voice assistant are supported on Android. The Beats app requires Android 15 or a newer version.
