Apple case for $129 covers iPhone Duo’s external screen
Along with its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, Apple introduced two proprietary cases. The most unusual of them, the Duo Folio with Kickstand priced at $129, is book-style and fully covers the phone’s external screen. Therefore, to check the time, view notifications, or use the folded iPhone Duo, you must first open the cover.
Additionally, Apple updated its official cases for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The iPhone Duo Folio with Kickstand fully covers the external screen
The more expensive Duo Folio with Kickstand is designed in a book-style format. Its front cover fully encloses the external screen of the iPhone Duo. As a result, you cannot quickly check the time or notifications on the folded smartphone: you must first open the cover.
The back of the Folio, however, features a built-in stand that allows the iPhone Duo to be positioned at various angles for watching videos, reading, or FaceTime calls. When not in use, the stand folds back.
The case is made from the proprietary TechWoven fabric and comes in beige and dark blue. It supports MagSafe wireless charging, Qi2 up to 25 W, and Qi. You can charge your smartphone without removing the case, even with the stand open.
In the US, the Duo Folio with Kickstand costs $129, while in the European Union, Apple prices it at €149.
iPhone Duo Case
The iPhone Duo Case is a simpler option for a foldable smartphone. The case consists of two separate parts: one protects the back of the device, while the other frames the external display without covering the screen itself or interfering with the folding mechanism.
Built-in magnets are used for alignment, helping to correctly position both parts on the case. The case is made of polycarbonate with a matte finish.
Apple offers the iPhone Duo Case in two colors: sand and dark blue. In the US, the case costs $79, while in Europe it is €89. Unlike the Folio, the external display here is immediately accessible without an additional cover.
Cases for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max
Apple also updated the TechWoven Case for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester, and the side edges are coated with textured TPU for a more secure grip. The buttons are made of anodized aluminum.
Six colors are available: Burgundy, Olive, Taupe, Chambray Blue, Mulberry, and Black. In the US, the TechWoven Case costs $59, and in the EU it costs €69.
The transparent Clear Case with MagSafe has received a minor visual update. Instead of the large rectangular white insert from the previous generation, it now features a more compact white MagSafe ring. In the US, its price is $49, and in the European Union, it is €59.
The Silicone Case with MagSafe also costs $49 in the US and €59 in Europe. The case is offered in six colors: Black, Navy Blue, Crisp Blue, Olive, Burgundy, and Magenta.
