Vivo X Fold 6 launches globally – more expensive and worse than the Chinese version
Vivo has released the foldable X Fold 6 outside of China. The international version features a smaller battery, only one configuration, and a significantly higher price.
Differences of the global version
The capacity of the dual-cell battery has decreased from 7,000 to 6,900 mAh. Wired charging still operates at up to 80 W, and wireless charging at up to 40 W.

There is also a difference in the software. The Chinese X Fold 6 was released in the summer with OriginOS 6 Fold based on Android 16, while the global model comes with OriginOS 7 Fold on Android 17.
The official European Vivo store currently offers only the configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage in Horizon Blue. In China, versions with 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB, 16/512 GB, and 16 GB/1 TB are available, along with three color options.

The package contents also differ. The European version includes a case, a USB Type-C cable, and a SIM eject tool, but no charging adapter. The Chinese version comes with a 100W adapter, which charges the smartphone at a maximum power of 80W.
The other main specifications remain unchanged. The X Fold 6 is equipped with an 8.02-inch internal and a 6.51-inch external AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor, and a triple ZEISS camera system. It includes a 200 MP main Samsung HPB sensor, a 50 MP Sony LYT-602 periscope lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Price
The international version of the Vivo X Fold 6 is now available for order in Europe. The model with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage costs €2199.

In China, the same configuration was priced at 8,999 yuan (≈ $1342) at launch. The base Chinese version with 12/256 GB costs 7,999 yuan (≈ $1193).
