New screenshots for GTA 6 have appeared, focusing on Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. The images show the main characters in quiet scenes and provide further details about their personalities and relationship.

In the shots, Jason and Lucia are sitting in a diner, playing pool, riding a motorcycle together, and posing for a black-and-white portrait. The characters appear with different hairstyles and in new clothing, though Rockstar has not yet specified how extensively players will be able to customize their appearance.

The developers also revealed additional details about the protagonists. Lucia is much more proactive in trying to change her life, whereas Jason reacts more often to circumstances. At the same time, both characters were intentionally made imperfect: they can make mistakes, show vulnerability, and gradually learn from each other.

Rockstar is not aiming to make GTA 6 maximally realistic in every aspect. Realistic elements are used where they enhance immersion, but they give way to gameplay convenience when necessary. The state of Leonida itself is conceived as an exaggerated and satirical version of modern America.

To flesh out the game world, Rockstar created a separate team of writers responsible for the dialogue of ordinary passersby. Writers from Los Angeles, New York, and London are also working on the advertising, radio, and comedic content.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
