Rockstar released 29 new screenshots of GTA 6
Rockstar Games continues to reveal new details about Grand Theft Auto VI ahead of its autumn release. The company updated the game’s official media section and added 29 new high-resolution screenshots at once. The official GTA 6 gallery now contains 99 images.
Lucia and Jason are at the center of the new collection
Most of the new screenshots focus on the main characters. In 13 images, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval appear together: the couple is shown robbing a jewelry store, standing inside an open vault with weapons, evading the police, riding an ATV, visiting a boxing gym, and heading to a nightclub.
There are also calmer scenes. Lucia and Jason drive around Vice City in a convertible, spend time by the water, and embrace against a sunset backdrop while police gather nearby. Judging by the number of such scenes, the relationship between the protagonists will indeed remain one of the central elements of the story.
Four additional images focus solely on Jason. In them, he appears near an ambulance, behind a metal fence with police lights flashing in the background, and holding a weapon inside industrial buildings.
Lucia appears alone in four new screenshots. The heroine fires from a car window during a chase, exits Check’s Cashing with a large bag, relaxes at a gym, and sits in a car surrounded by the neon lights of Vice City.
New character customization options
In the screenshots, Lucia and Jason noticeably change their appearance. Their clothing, hairstyles, and accessories vary; Jason appears with different facial hair, while Lucia is seen with piercings and numerous tattoos.
The extended GTA 6 presentation six months ago revealed that character customization options will be significantly broader than simple clothing changes.
Jason and Lucia’s appearance can change depending on their lifestyle: workouts affect muscle mass, while diet affects body weight. The game also includes barbershops, tattoos, and other customization options.
Areas beyond Vice City
The new collection offers another look at the scale of Leonida. In addition to Vice City itself, Rockstar showed the regions of Ambrosia, Grassrivers, Leonida Keys, and Port Gellhorn.
In Ambrosia, one screenshot shows a mud party with bikers. Grassrivers is depicted as a swampy area with wooden houses and a settlement by the water, with the skyscrapers of Vice City visible on the horizon. Another image shows an armed local resident near a wooden house.
In Leonida Keys, an iguana sitting on a tree near the water unexpectedly takes center stage. Port Gellhorn is shown from above at sunset, offering a clear view of the coastal city’s development.
Vice City itself received several panoramic shots. They show skyscrapers along the coast, yachts and speedboats, helicopters, and dense urban development. A separate screenshot shows an armed man with tattoos and a gold-colored rifle.
99 GTA 6 screenshots
Before the update, Rockstar had published 70 standard GTA 6 screenshots on its website. Their number has now increased to 99, and the company offers all of the images as a single downloadable archive.
Some of the newly added images were previously used in press materials following the major GTA 6 showcase, but Rockstar has now compiled them into a publicly accessible official gallery in full resolution for the first time.
The update arrived just a few days after Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look – a 26-minute presentation featuring extended gameplay footage. In it, Rockstar showcased Vice City in detail, including shootouts, chases, switching between Jason and Lucia, entertainment options, and other open-world elements.
Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The PC version has not yet been officially announced.
