
Samsung introduces budget Galaxy F08 and Galaxy M08 smartphones
The Galaxy F08 and Galaxy M08 are virtually identical in specifications, differing only in color options and being designed for different retail platforms.
Specifications
The Galaxy F08 and Galaxy M08 feature a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with HD+ resolution (1600 × 720 pixels) and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. A waterdrop notch for the front camera is located at the top of the screen.

The smartphones are powered by a 6nm 8-core MediaTek Helio G99+ processor, featuring two performance cores clocked at up to 2.2 GHz and six power-efficient cores at up to 2.0 GHz. There is no 5G support; the smartphones operate on 4G networks LTE.

Both models are equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. A separate slot is provided for a microSD card with a capacity of up to 2 TB.
The main camera includes two sensors:
- 50 MP, f/1.8, autofocus;
- 2 MP, f/2.4, depth sensor.

The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP and an f/2.0 aperture. The main camera supports up to 10× digital zoom and Full HD video recording at 30 fps.
The Galaxy F08 and Galaxy M08 feature a 6,000 mAh typical capacity battery with support for 25W wired charging. A charger of the corresponding power is sold separately.

The smartphones are protected against dust and splashes according to the IP64 standard. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side edge. There are also two Nano-SIM slots, Wi-Fi 802.11ac in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C 2.0, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The dimensions of both models are 167,4 × 77,4 × 8,0 mm, and the weight is 197 grams.
Software and updates
The Galaxy F08 and Galaxy M08 run Android 17 with the One UI 9 interface. Samsung promises six generations of OS updates and six years of security updates for both models. The Galaxy F08 support page lists the security patch deadline as September 30, 2032.

Price and availability
The Galaxy F08 is available in dark blue, and the Galaxy M08 in silver. At the time of the announcement, Samsung specified a configuration of 4/64 GB, but has not yet announced official pricing or exact release dates.
According to preliminary data from Indian retailers, both models may cost 16,999 rupees ($177). The Galaxy F08 is expected to be sold via Flipkart, and the Galaxy M08 via Amazon India, although Samsung has not yet officially confirmed these terms.
