Apple’s first foldable smartphone, iPhone Duo, has appeared in the Geekbench 7 database under the identifier iPhone19,4. Benchmark results show that its CPU performance is nearly on par with the iPhone 18 Pro.

Benchmark results

The iPhone Duo is powered by a 2 nm Apple A20 Pro processor with a six-core CPU and a seven-core GPU. The processor runs at up to 4.93 GHz. Geekbench also lists 11.30 GB of RAM, corresponding to the installed 12 GB. The tested smartphone was running iOS 27.1.

The device scored 3,986 points in Geekbench 7’s single-core test and 11,067 points in the multi-core test. These figures are comparable to those of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, which use the same A20 Pro processor.

However, the foldable iPhone falls slightly short of the best results achieved by Apple’s conventional flagship phones. So far, only one test result has been published, making it too early to draw definitive conclusions about the device’s performance.

iPhone Duo’s performance measured in Geekbench

Real-world performance will also depend on the cooling system and thermal limits. In addition, the published test measures CPU performance but does not provide insight into the smartphone’s graphics capabilities.

For comparison, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, powered by the company’s 10-core XRING O3 processor, topped AnTuTu’s September ranking of Android smartphones with an average score of 4,620,886 points. However, these figures cannot be directly compared with the iPhone Duo’s results, as Geekbench 7 and AnTuTu use different testing methods.

iPhone Duo release date and price

Preorders for the iPhone Duo will open on October 16, 2026, and sales will begin on October 23. In the US, the smartphone starts at $1999, and in Europe at €2299. Both prices are for the base model with 256 GB of storage.
