Acer unveiled the Predator Atlas 7 portable gaming console at IFA 2026. By specifications, it almost replicates the 8-inch Predator Atlas 8, but received a more compact 7-inch chassis.

In the maximum configuration, the device is equipped with an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor, integrated Arc B390 graphics, 24 GB of RAM, and an 80 Wh battery.

Display

Predator Atlas 7 received a 7-inch touch IPS display with 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The refresh rate is 120 Hz, and the maximum brightness is 500 nits. Supports VRR, which allows synchronizing the display refresh rate with the frame rate in games.

The screen covers 100% of the sRGB color space and 75% of Adobe RGB, and recognizes up to ten simultaneous touches.

For protection, it uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with a DXC coating designed to reduce glare and increase the surface’s resistance to scratches. The package also includes a protective tempered glass.

Performance

Acer will offer the Predator Atlas 7 with two variants of the new Intel mobile platform – Arc G3 and the more powerful Arc G3 Extreme. They are paired with the integrated Arc B370 and Arc B390 graphics, respectively.

The senior Intel Arc G3 Extreme belongs to the Panther Lake family and includes 14 compute cores CPU. The graphics portion of the Arc B390 is built on the Xe3 architecture and includes 12 Xe cores. Hardware ray tracing and Intel XeSS 3 technology with image scaling and frame generation are supported.

The volume of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM can reach up to 24 GB. For game storage, a SSD PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive with up to 1 TB capacity is provided, installed in a full-size M.2 2280 slot.

The device runs on Windows 11 Home, so you can launch standard PC games and install third-party game stores and applications.

Cooling system

For cooling, Acer used a system with two fans. One of them is the proprietary metal Predator AeroBlade with 89 blades, each only 0.1 mm thick. According to the manufacturer, this design increases airflow by more than 10% compared to a standard plastic fan.

The second fan is made of plastic. Additionally, the Vortex Flow system is used with internal channels that direct heated air outside the chassis.

The same cooling scheme is used in the larger Predator Atlas 8.

Management

Predator Atlas 7 received full-size analog sticks. Depending on the configuration, standard sticks with carbon film or more expensive TMR modules will be used.

TMR uses tunnel magnetoresistance and, like Hall sensors, does not require physical contact to determine the stick’s position. Acer promises higher accuracy, no dead zones, and drift protection.

Analog triggers L2 and R2 use Hall effect sensors. Two additional programmable macro buttons are located at the back.

Standard ABXY buttons, a D-pad, bumpers, View and Menu buttons, as well as dedicated Xbox Game Bar and PredatorSense keys are also provided. The power button has a built-in fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello authentication.

The chassis features more pronounced grips, larger palm rests, recessed buttons, and a non-slip texture. According to Acer, these changes should make the 7-inch model more comfortable during extended gaming sessions.

Battery

The Predator Atlas 7 will be released with at least two battery options – 60 Wh and 80 Wh. The version with an 80 Wh battery weighs less than 750 grams, and the one with a 60 Wh battery weighs less than 700 grams.

For comparison, the 8-inch Predator Atlas 8 weighs less than 810 grams with an 80 Wh battery and less than 770 grams with a 60 Wh battery.

The package includes a 65W USB-C power adapter.

Other

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports are provided for connecting peripherals. They support docking stations, external monitors, and other high-speed devices.

There is also a UHS-II microSD card reader with SD 4.0 support and a combined 3.5 mm audio jack. Wireless interfaces include Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 BE1775s and Bluetooth 5.4.

Sound is handled by two 2 W speakers with DTS Virtual:X Ultra and Hi-Res Audio support. Two built-in microphones work together with Acer PurifiedVoice, which uses noise cancellation algorithms for voice communication.

Through the proprietary PredatorSense application, you can monitor system status, switch performance modes, adjust game parameters, and configure RGB lighting.

The device dimensions are 292 × 112,7-123 × 28,5-48,4 mm.

Price and start of sales

Sales of the Acer Predator Atlas 7 in North America will begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, and in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa – in November.

The company has not yet announced the price. For comparison, the larger Predator Atlas 8 is launching in Europe in September and is offered at a price starting from €1299, so the 7-inch model could potentially occupy a more accessible position in the lineup.

The Predator Atlas 7 package will also include a temporary subscription to Xbox Game Pass services.
