Acer unveiled the Aspire G 3D 16 (AG3D16-81M) laptop at the IFA 2026 exhibition. The model features a 16-inch 3D display that does not require special glasses for viewing. Inside, it is equipped with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, which includes Radeon 8060S integrated graphics, so there is no separate GPU in the laptop.

Display and 3D

The Aspire G 3D 16 is equipped with a 16-inch IPS panel in a 16:10 aspect ratio, featuring a resolution of 3840×2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Brightness reaches 450 nits, with a claimed 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The screen occupies approximately 90% of the lid area.

When stereoscopic mode is enabled, the resolution changes to 1920×2400 pixels. Two cameras tracking the user’s eye position are used to generate a volumetric image. The system adjusts the display so that the left and right eyes see different images.

The preinstalled SpatialLabs 3D Hub app handles work with 3D content. It allows viewing compatible materials and converting regular photos and videos from 2D to stereoscopic format. Acer warns that the quality and availability of such conversion depend on the source content and system configuration.

SpatialLabs TrueGame gaming mode is also supported. It uses profiles for compatible games, so the ability to output images in 3D depends on the specific project.

Performance

The laptop is based on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor featuring Zen 5 architecture. The chip includes 16 cores and supports 32 threads, with a maximum frequency of up to 5.1 GHz.

Instead of a discrete graphics card, the system uses an integrated Radeon 8060S with 40 compute units based on RDNA 3.5 architecture. This allowed Acer to implement a 3D screen without a separate mobile GPU, which was used in some of the company’s previous devices with SpatialLabs.

Ryzen AI Max+ 395 delivers up to 126 TOPS of combined AI performance, with up to 50 TOPS allocated to NPU.

Aspire G 3D 16 configurations support up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory. The maximum capacity for an M.2 SSD drive with a PCIe 4.0 interface is 2 TB.

Chassis and equipment

The laptop measures 355×264,9×19,3 mm in size and weighs 1.8 kg. The top and bottom covers, as well as the working area, are made of metal. Acer chose the Meteorite Gray color for this model.

The keyboard features RGB backlighting, with the WASD keys highlighted in red. A fingerprint scanner can optionally be integrated into the power button.

A 5-MP camera is provided for video calls. An infrared camera is also used. The audio system consists of two 2-W speakers and digital microphones.

Ports and Connectivity

The laptop is equipped with two USB4 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. It also includes HDMI 2.1, an RJ-45 jack, a combined audio jack, and an SD 4.0 card reader.

Wireless connectivity supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Battery

The battery capacity is 99.9 Wh. The package includes a 230 W power adapter. Acer has not yet disclosed the battery life.

Price and release date

Acer has not yet announced the price of the Aspire G 3D 16 or the laptop’s market release date. The company clarified that it will announce availability information for the model later.
