Samsung unveils Galaxy F70 5G with AMOLED display and 50MP camera for $210

The Samsung Galaxy F70 5G joins the existing Galaxy F70e and Galaxy F70 Pro models, and stands out for its premium features at a very attractive price.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy F70 5G features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2340 × 1080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Performance

Powering the phone is Samsung’s octa-core Exynos 1330 processor, built on a 5nm process. Graphics are handled by the Mali-G68 MP2 GPU. The chip has an integrated 5G modem and supports fifth-generation mobile networks.

The smartphone is available with either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 2TB.

Battery

The 5,000mAh battery supports 25W wired charging. A compatible power adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.

Cameras

The rear of the smartphone houses three cameras:

Main: 50MP, f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization (OIS);
Ultra-wide: 5MP;
Macro: 2MP.

Samsung markets its optical image stabilization under the name No Shake Cam. The technology compensates for hand shake, reducing photo blur, especially in low light.

The 13MP front camera, with an f/2.0 aperture, is housed in the display’s teardrop-shaped notch. It supports Portrait mode with background blur and is designed for selfies and video calls.

Other features

The fingerprint scanner is built into the power button. The smartphone runs Samsung’s One UI and supports Circle to Search, which lets users search for information about objects on screen using Google. It also integrates with Google’s Gemini AI assistant.
