OneXPlayer introduces gaming tablet with 192 GB of memory for $8000
The OneXPlayer Super X Pro gaming tablet-convertible features a 14-inch display, a AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor, and up to 192 GB of unified memory. However, the most surprising aspect is the price: the top-tier version of the device costs an incredible $8079.
Design and display
The Super X Pro is equipped with a 14-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, support for variable refresh rate (VRR), and HDR.

The metal chassis is CNC-machined (CNC). The device is approximately 13 mm thick. On the back panel, there is a built-in kickstand that unfolds to an angle of up to 173°. A detachable magnetic keyboard with RGB backlighting allows the tablet to be used as a laptop.
Performance and memory
The Super X Pro is powered by a AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor with 16 cores and 32 threads based on the Zen 5 architecture. The maximum clock speed reaches 5.2 GHz. The integrated Radeon 8065S graphics are built on the RDNA 3.5 architecture, include 40 compute units, and operate at frequencies up to 3 GHz.
The processor also features a neural processing unit (NPU) with performance of up to 55 TOPS to accelerate supported AI tasks without requiring access to cloud services.

The Super X Pro is offered with 128 GB or 192 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 unified memory with a bandwidth of up to 273 GB/s. Since the CPU and integrated graphics share a common memory pool, up to 160 GB can be allocated for GPU in the 192 GB configuration.
According to OneXPlayer, the device is capable of running AI models with up to 300 billion parameters locally. However, the ability to run them depends on the format and degree of quantization, and performance in such tasks has not yet been confirmed by independent tests.
For data storage, a 4 TB SSD in M.2 2280 format with a PCIe 4.0 interface is provided. There is also an additional slot for removable Mini SSD drives.
Cooling system
Two fans are used to cool the components. In addition, the Super X Pro is available in a special version that supports the connection of the external Frost Bay liquid cooling system.

According to the manufacturer, connecting the external cooling system allows the processor’s power consumption to be increased to 120 W and maintains high performance under sustained loads. However, there are no independent test results for the cooling system yet.
Frost Bay is purchased separately and is not included in the standard package.
Battery and interfaces
The battery capacity is 85.58 Wh. The package includes a 240 W gallium nitride (GaN) power adapter. The actual battery life is currently unknown and will depend on the load, screen brightness, and the selected performance mode.
The set of interfaces includes two USB4 ports, one USB-A port, HDMI 2.1, a microSD memory card slot, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. External storage, peripherals, and additional displays can be connected to the tablet.
Price and release dates
OneXPlayer has already listed the Super X Pro in its official online store. Four configurations are available to buyers:
- Super X Pro, 128 GB RAM + 4 TB SSD – $4699;
- Super X Pro, 128 GB RAM + 4 TB SSD, liquid-cooled version – $4779;
