Rockstar Games confirmed that players will be able to explore hundreds of small interiors in Grand Theft Auto VI. Studio representatives told Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier about this during a gameplay demonstration.

Hundreds of interiors

In GTA 6, players will be able to enter numerous buildings and spaces, including offices and gas stations. The developers have yet to reveal the exact number of accessible interiors.

During the demonstration, Jason and Lucia first looked around a bank they planned to rob, but abandoned the plan because there were too many guards. Later, the protagonists broke into a gas station’s back room, disabled the alarm and took the money without attracting attention.

A serious story

Based on Jason Schreier’s impressions, GTA 6’s story is closer in tone to Red Dead Redemption 2 than to GTA 5. The journalist attributed this to the relationship between the main characters. Unlike the characters in the previous game, who were constantly arguing and insulting each other, Jason and Lucia genuinely enjoy spending time together.

At the same time, the player’s interactions with the main characters may influence how their personalities develop and what happens next. However, Rockstar has not yet revealed how much the player’s choices can change the story or whether GTA 6 will have alternate endings.
