Chinese company FEVM has begun sales of the FN80G mini-PC, which combines Intel Arrow Lake desktop processors with NVIDIA graphics.

Depending on the configuration, the device is equipped with a GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop, a desktop RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, RTX 5080 Laptop, or a top-tier RTX 5090 Laptop with 24 GB of video memory. The chassis measures just 180 × 168 × 88 mm in size and has a volume of approximately 2.6 liters. The computer can be installed horizontally or vertically.

Features

The base FN80G model is equipped with the Core Ultra 5 230F processor – a desktop variant of the Arrow Lake family intended for the Chinese market. The chip features 10 cores and 10 threads, boosts up to 5.0 GHz, and lacks integrated graphics, so the system uses a discrete graphics card. In the most affordable configuration, the processor works alongside the mobile GeForce RTX 5060 with 8 GB of video memory.

The next option features the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus paired with a desktop RTX 5060 Ti with 16 GB of video memory. A version with the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and the same RTX 5060 Ti is also offered.

For the higher-end FEVM models, Core Ultra 5 250K Plus and Core Ultra 7 270K Plus are paired with a mobile RTX 5080 featuring 16 GB of video memory. The flagship configuration uses Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop with 24 GB. The top-tier processor includes 24 cores and 24 threads, operating at frequencies up to 5.5 GHz.

According to Chinese tests, the Core Ultra 5 230F can approach the performance of the Core Ultra 5 245K in games while consuming less power. For a compact computer, this is especially important because heat output directly affects cooling system capabilities.

FEVM states that the processor and graphics card FN80G can operate with a combined power of up to 250 W. In the top-tier version, up to 100 W is allocated to the processor and up to 150 W to the RTX 5090 Laptop.

Two independent cooling systems are used, each consisting of four heat pipes and a dedicated fan. According to the manufacturer, under full load, noise levels reach 42 dB, processor temperatures do not exceed 85 °C, and GPU temperatures stay at 80 °C.

The platform is equipped with two SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory. For storage, it provides two M.2 2280 NVMe slots supporting SSD drives of up to 4 TB each. A separate M.2 2230 slot is used for the wireless adapter. In ready-made systems, FEVM offers up to 64 GB of RAM and SSD storage capacity of up to 2 TB.

Ports

Despite its compact size, the FN80G offers a wide array of interfaces. Users have access to five USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, and two USB Type-C ports.

The front USB Type-C port supports Thunderbolt 4 with data transfer speeds up to 40 Gbit/s. It also features Thunderbolt Bridge technology, which allows two computers to be connected directly. The rear USB Type-C port is connected directly to the discrete graphics card and can be used for video output, including to portable monitors and compatible AR glasses.

For connecting displays, the system also includes HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0, and two DisplayPort 2.0 ports. In total, the FN80G supports simultaneous output to six 4K monitors.

Network capabilities include two wired interfaces: 10GbE and 2.5GbE. The 10-gigabit Ethernet is one of the notable differences between the FN80G and the AMD-based FA80G model, which uses two 2.5GbE ports.

Additionally, the mini-PC is equipped with a 3.5-mm audio jack, an SD card reader, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.
