AnTuTu published a fresh ranking of the most powerful Android smartphones for August 2026. This time, the first place went to the gaming Red Magic 11S Pro+, which managed to surpass the previous leader iQOO 15 Ultra.

The main feature of the August rating was the complete dominance of Qualcomm. All ten smartphones run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the leader uses an additionally overclocked version of it.

Red Magic 11S Pro+ took first place

The Red Magic 11S Pro+ in the configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage scored an average of 4,118,689 points. The smartphone runs on an overclocked version of Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with a maximum frequency of CPU 4.74 ГГц instead of 4.6 ГГц in the standard chip version.

iQOO 15 Ultra

In second place is the iQOO 15 Ultra with a score of 4,118,578 points. Despite the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 version, the smartphone is almost on par with Red Magic. At the same time, a difference of 111 points constitutes less than 0.003% of the total score, so in fact both smartphones demonstrate comparable peak performance levels.

Third place was taken by the Red Magic 11 Pro+ with a score of 4,049,580 points, followed by iQOO 15, which scored 4,047,631 points.

The top five also includes the Vivo X300 Ultra Satellite Edition with a score of 3,984,744 points. It lacked about 15,000 points to reach the four million mark.

How AnTuTu compiles its rankings

Unlike isolated record-breaking results that manufacturers may showcase during presentations, AnTuTu uses the average of all actual tests for a specific model over a month.

The August statistics include results collected from August 1 to August 31, 2026 in China. To be included in the ranking, a smartphone must undergo at least 1000 valid tests per month.

At the same time, an identical processor does not mean identical performance. Between the Red Magic 11S Pro+ in first place and the Honor Magic 8 in tenth place, the difference is almost 300 thousand points, or about 7.8%.

The final result may be influenced by device temperature, firmware and OS versions, cooling systems, background processes, and other testing conditions. Additionally, results from different versions of the benchmark itself cannot be directly compared – AnTuTu V10 and V11 scoring systems differ.
