Top 10 most powerful smartphones for August 2026
AnTuTu published a fresh ranking of the most powerful Android smartphones for August 2026. This time, first place went to the gaming Red Magic 11S Pro+, which managed to surpass the previous leader, the iQOO 15 Ultra.
The main feature of the August ranking was Qualcomm’s complete dominance. All ten smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the leader uses an additionally overclocked version of the chip.
Red Magic 11S Pro+ took first place
The Red Magic 11S Pro+ in a configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage scored an average of 4,118,689 points. The smartphone is powered by an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with a maximum CPU frequency of 4.74 GHz, compared with 4.6 GHz for the standard version of the chip.
The iQOO 15 Ultra took second place with a score of 4,118,578 points. Despite using the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the smartphone is almost on par with the Red Magic. The difference of just 111 points represents less than 0.003% of the total score, meaning that both smartphones effectively deliver comparable peak performance.
Third place went to the Red Magic 11 Pro+ with a score of 4,049,580 points, followed by the iQOO 15, which scored 4,047,631 points.
The top five also includes the Vivo X300 Ultra Satellite Edition with a score of 3,984,744 points. It fell about 15,000 points short of the four-million mark.

How AnTuTu compiles its rankings
Unlike isolated record-breaking results that manufacturers may showcase during presentations, AnTuTu uses the average score from all valid tests of a specific model conducted over a month.
The August statistics include results collected in China from August 1 to August 31, 2026. To be included in the ranking, a smartphone must complete at least 1,000 valid tests during the month.
At the same time, using the same processor does not guarantee identical performance. The difference between the first-place Red Magic 11S Pro+ and the Honor Magic 8 in tenth place is almost 300,000 points, or about 7.8%.
The final result may be affected by device temperature, firmware and OS versions, cooling systems, background processes, and other testing conditions. Additionally, results from different versions of the benchmark itself cannot be directly compared, as the scoring systems in AnTuTu V10 and V11 differ.
