Samsung Galaxy S26 FE revealed before launch – last year’s Exynos 2500 and a price starting from €799
The main hardware update for the Galaxy S26 FE appears to be the processor. Everything else Samsung decided to leave almost untouched: the smartphone is said to have the same display, battery, and practically identical camera setup as Galaxy S25 FE. At the same time, the starting price in Europe may increase by €50.
The new leak includes marketing images from Samsung, detailed specifications, and even a video of the working device. The Galaxy S26 FE has not yet been officially announced.
Display
Galaxy S26 FE will feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2340×1080 pixels resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. According to one of the leaks, the maximum brightness will be 1900 nits. The screen will be covered with Gorilla Glass Victus+ glass.

By these parameters, there are virtually no changes compared to the Galaxy S25 FE – last year’s model has the same diagonal, resolution, refresh rate, brightness, and protective glass.
Performance
Galaxy S26 FE will receive last year’s 3-nm Exynos 2500, which debuted in Galaxy Z Flip 7. It will replace the 4nm Exynos 2400 from the Galaxy S25 FE, so there will be a performance boost, but the current 2nm Exynos 2600 from the main Galaxy S26 series will not be available for the smartphone.

The amount of RAM will remain at the 8 GB level. Versions with 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage are expected, and a separate leak of European prices also mentions a 512 GB variant.
Cameras
With the Samsung camera, it seems they didn’t experiment at all. The module set is identical to the Galaxy S25 FE:
- 50 MP – main camera with OIS;
- 12 MP – ultra-wide-angle;
- 8 MP – telephoto with 3x optical zoom;
- 12 MP – front camera.

Even the aperture values match: f/1.8, f/2.2 and f/2.4 respectively. Therefore, improvements in image quality, if they appear, will most likely be tied to a new processor and image processing rather than new optics or sensors.
Among the software features are Horizontal Lock, which keeps the horizon level even during strong smartphone rotation, and My FanCam. The latter allows you to select a person from an already recorded group video, after which Galaxy AI automatically creates a separate clip while keeping them centered in the frame.
Battery
The battery capacity will remain the same – 4900 мА·ч. Wired charging also remains unchanged and reaches 45 W. In the leaked Samsung materials, up to 29 hours of video playback is promised.
Noticeably better battery life can still be expected thanks to the Exynos 2500, but the battery itself has not become larger.
Chassis and design
The appearance has been brought closer to the main series Galaxy S26. Three rear cameras are now combined into a single protruding module instead of separate rings.

The body thickness will be 7.4 mm, and the weight – 193 grams. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 FE weighs 190 grams at the same thickness. The frame is made of aluminum and features IP68 protection.
Three colors are expected: Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio.
Android 17 and seven years of updates
Galaxy S26 FE is expected to launch immediately with Android 17 and One UI 9. Samsung will also maintain a seven-year support period – the smartphone will receive new Android versions and security updates for seven years.
Also announced is Audio Eraser, capable of separating voice, music, and background noise in real time even while viewing content in third-party apps.
Price and presentation date
According to preliminary data, European prices will be:
- 128 GB – €799;
- 256 GB – €899;
- 512 GB – €1099.
The base Galaxy S25 FE started at €749, so the new model may increase in price by €50, despite the minimal number of hardware changes.
Samsung has not yet announced the presentation date. Leaks point to early September, with one possible date being September 1.
