ASUS released the powerful ProArt GR1X mini-PC with NVIDIA RTX Spark chip
The ASUS ProArt GR1X is an ultra-compact desktop computer designed for local AI model processing, 3D graphics, and professional rendering.
The PC is powered by the NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X superchip with up to 128 GB of unified memory, accessible to both the CPU and GPU.
Specifications
The ASUS ProArt GR1X features the NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X superchip, which combines a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU based on the Arm architecture with an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU featuring 6,144 CUDA cores. The components are connected via a high-speed NVLink-C2C interface and utilize 64 GB or 128 GB of shared LPDDR5X memory.

Thanks to fifth-generation Tensor cores and support for the FP4 format, computational performance for AI tasks reaches 1 petaflop. According to ASUS, the computer can locally run language models with up to 120 billion parameters and process 3D scenes larger than 90 GB without relying on cloud servers.

Beyond professional tasks, the ProArt GR1X is suitable for gaming. ASUS claims performance exceeding 100 FPS in modern AAA titles at 1440p resolution. However, the company does not specify the games or graphics settings, so this figure should not be considered guaranteed for all projects.
The chassis volume is just 1.1 liters with dimensions of 150 × 150 × 51 mm and a weight of 1.48 kg. To cool components with a total thermal design power of 140 W, the system uses two fans with 109 blades each, four heat pipes, and a heatsink with 57 wide fins. The cooling system is designed for sustained operation under load, including 24/7 AI task execution.

Power is provided by an external 240 W adapter connected via USB Type-C with support for Power Delivery 3.1 EPR.
The rear panel features four USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C ports, three of which support DisplayPort Alt Mode, one HDMI 2.1 port, a 10GbE network port, and a Kensington lock slot. The computer allows for the simultaneous connection of up to four 4K monitors.

Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. For data storage, there are two M.2 NVMe slots with support for PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0. Depending on the configuration, the computer is equipped with SSD of 1, 2, or 4 TB.
The ASUS ProArt GR1X runs on Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro. It supports the NVIDIA CUDA platform, the ComfyUI image generation interface, and tools for running local AI agents.
Release timing and pricing
The ASUS ProArt GR1X is expected to go on sale by the end of 2026. The computer will be available in black and silver colors. Official pricing and the exact launch date have not yet been announced.
